PROTECTING THE RIGHTS OF THE INDIGENOUS JEWISH PEOPLE

The Office for Israeli Constitutional Law is working with Knesset members, regional council heads, and community leaders toward:

* The Protection of the Indigenous Rights of the Jewish People, as the Indigenous People of Palestine/Israel.

* The support for the rights of the Jewish People to maintain their unique ways of life, and the continuance of such under any future peace agreements that may develop.

* The promotion in the Knesset and all other forms of Government of Jewish indigenous rights that may in the future be enacted.

* The development of educational programs to assist others in understanding the unique indigenous culture within the Jewish People of the Holy Land.

To achieve this goal, OFICL has instituted the following:

OFICL reviews and comments on all legislation within Israel and the Diaspora that relates to the status of Jews and their indigenous connection to the land of their fathers. OFICL educates by way of lectures and classes in this area and helps with representation wherever necessary.

OFICL helps our volunteers to understand the movement within the United Nations and its many departments as to the status of the indigenous Jewish People.

OFICL reviews and comments on all issues relating to the Indigenous Jewish People and in building the foundations of the Jewish Indigenous homeland.

OFICL provides as much support as possible to assist Jewish People in learning about, exploring and comprehending the Jewish attachment to the Land of their Fathers.

The Jewish People are the Indigenous People of Canaan-Palestine-Israel.

The bible describes the roots of the Historical Jewish connection to the land:

"And Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls they had gotten in Haran: and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan  (Genesis 12).

Abraham was the founder of the Jewish People and the first Patriarch. He lived and died 1900 BCE.
Following World War I, the victorious allies who captured the territories that had been under 400 years of Turkish rule, decided that the territory of Palestine should be given to the Jewish People because of the National Jewish connection to the land:

"Whereas recognition has thereby been given to the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and to the grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country. (The Mandate for Palestine (July 24, 1922)
